Oxendine is a very common surname among the Lumbee tribe in NC

Robeson County, NC is kinda the center of the Lumbee region...with UNC-Pembroke the college attached to the tribe.

Locklear is also a common Lumbee surname.and yes, actress Heather has Lumbee lineage.
